Enterprise Center Announces New Courses

Next Generation Leadership: A Lunch and Learn Series, is the Mason Enterprise Center’s next series of courses, presented in conjunction with Performance Centers Worldwide for the spring semester.
Upcoming classes for April and May include the following:
- “Learn to Measure and Measure to Learn” is presented on Wednesday, April 5, by Altyn Clark. This session helps participants learn to create more effective, more purposeful measurement systems to help them manage the multidimensional side of fast growth and make better decisions.
- “Emotional Intelligence: Make the Heart of Human Effectiveness Work for You” is presented on Wednesday, April 12, by Sharon Flinder and Cindy S. Johnston. This workshop focuses on emotional energy as the power source of information, connection, and influence, and shows participants how to boost their own personal power.
- “Leading Change for the Top” is presented on Thursday, May 4, by Marta C. Wilson. This course, designed for top-level managers, explores the dimensions of modern leadership and how you can begin to create profound change.
- “The Virtual Organization: Leading People You Don’t See” is presented on Thursday, May 11, by Ken Smith, managing principal of Strategic Directions, LLC. This workshop offers techniques to help you manage people you don’t see, but on whom you must rely, and explores how to meet the leadership demands and challenges of our fast-changing environment.
The classes are held at the Mason Enterprise Center, located at 4031 University Drive, Suite 200, in Fairfax, from noon to 4 p.m. The cost of each seminar is $200, and lunch is included. For more information and to register, call (703) 277-7700.
