The Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel was recently accepted as the newest member of the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC). All members of the IACC are venues recognized for offering the highest-quality meeting facilities to business professionals.

“The Mason Inn provides campus visitors with first-class accommodations and will serve as a catalyst for the university to position its beautiful campus as a premier event and conference venue in the region,” says Christine LaPaille, vice president for University Relations.

Opening in July, the Mason Inn boasts superior services and a highly trained staff to create a first-class meeting experience. It features 148 guest rooms and 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including 12 meeting rooms, two ballrooms and a full-service restaurant and lounge.

The Mason Inn’s state-of-the-art technology will provide the infrastructure necessary to host a wide variety of meetings, from intimate academic seminars to international business video conferences.

In addition to the technological capabilities of the Mason Inn, the IACC recognized dozens of other unique features, including ideal acoustic levels in each meeting room, a full-service business supply desk and individual meeting room climate controls.

“It’s an honor to be listed among the other prestigious members of the IACC,” says Tim Loughman, general manager of the Mason Inn.

“Serious meeting professionals frequently use IACC guidelines to choose their conference location. This recognition will bring added exposure not only to the Mason Inn, but also to the university and its beautiful campus.”

The Mason Inn is currently accepting reservations for meeting spaces and guest rooms. Group reservations can be made for as early as July 22. Individual reservations begin Aug. 1. To reserve a meeting space, you may fill out the online request form.
