Prince William Campus Sponsors 5k Run/Walk

The Prince William Campus is inaugurating Mason Miles, a 5k run/2 mile walk, on Thursday, March 25, from noon to 2 p.m.
Proceeds from the walk will support the Kyle Wilson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Wilson, a Prince William County firefighter and Mason alum from the School of Recreation, Health and Tourism, died in the line of duty on April 16, 2007.

In addition to free T-shirts for those who register and participate, prizes for the first-place male and female walkers and runners will be given. A post-race lunch and awards ceremony will be held. At the conclusion of the event, Mason Miles participants will have an opportunity to climb on The Edge challenge course from 1 to 3 p.m. Visit The Edge web site for more information.
