The Mercatus Center at George Mason University is currently accepting applications for the Master of Arts Fellowship Program in economics. The fellowship is a competitive program for students who have been admitted into Mason’s master of arts economics program and are interested in pursuing an advanced applied economics degree to prepare for a career in public policy.
The fellowship includes full tuition and an additional stipend and is aimed at students with an interest in gaining advanced economics training, but who do not anticipate a career in academia. Students who anticipate working in public policy are ideal candidates for this fellowship and can gain valuable experience outside the classroom while working with Mercatus scholars. To learn more about the program, visit the Mercatus web site.
Interested students must apply for admission into the master’s program and the Mercatus Master of Arts Fellowship simultaneously. The deadline for applications is March 14, 2010.
