“Love It, Move It, Feel It” is the theme for Body Image Awareness week, which begins today with an information session on nutrition, body image, and eating disorders at the kiosk in the Johnson Center Food Court between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. At 8 p.m., Sharlene Holladay, a dietician and adjunct professor in Health, Fitness, and Recreation Resources, presents “Nutrition for Optimal Fitness” in the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

On Tuesday, Feb. 29, the university community is invited to “Beauty across Cultures,” a discussion on how beauty is defined and valued in different cultures across the world. The program begins at 8 p.m. in the Eisenhower Lounge.

The week is capped off on Thursday, March 2, with “Beauty in all Shapes and Sizes,” a fashion show featuring student models sporting outfits from Old Navy, Lane Bryant, and the University Bookstore. The show runs from noon to 1 p.m. in the Johnson Center Atrium.
