Want to watch a movie? Students, faculty, and staff members now can take advantage of a new video rental vending machine installed in the Johnson Center. Located near the bookstore, the vending machine kiosk has 420 videotapes and 120 DVDs to choose from. It is supported by a personal computer, which finds the selected movie with the help of a database. New releases will be added to the vending machine every Tuesday.

Membership is free, and all new members will receive a $5 credit upon registration. Membership packets are available at the kiosk. The cost to rent new releases on video or DVD is $1.99 for one day. For each additional day, the rental charge is $1.99. For films that are 90 days old, the rental charge is $1.29 for one day. Each additional day costs 25 cents. Membership application forms are available at the Johnson Center Information Desk. The kiosk accepts cash and credit cards.
