“Making the Connection,” held Jan. 22 to 27, offers opportunities for new students to take steps toward becoming a successful college student, as well as providing a time to meet other students, faculty, and staff at George Mason. Programs include a walking tour of Capitol Hill on Saturday, and free games and refreshments on Sunday for the campus community and students’ families and friends. Daily programs held Monday through Thursday include an introduction to the multicultural community at George Mason, a student organization fair, a support program for transfer students, and a workshop to assess learning styles.
