President Merten to Give State of University Address, Oct. 14

George Mason University President Alan Merten will give a “State of the University” address on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m., in the Johnson Center’s Dewberry Hall. The address is open to the entire campus community.

President Merten is expected to discuss Mason’s current budget challenges, the student enrollment situation and various capital projects. He will also take questions and comments from those in attendance.

“The State of the University” address will be broadcast to the Prince William Campus (Bull Run Hall, Room 130) and the Arlington Campus (Arlington Original Building, Room 250).

A reception immediately following the address will be held in the outer lobby of Dewberry Hall.
