The terrain may have been a little bit different in each location, but on each of the Mason campuses walkers joined in exactly at noon on Sept. 23 to participate in Mason’s first all-university Happy Heart Walk. The one-mile walk was sponsored by Wellness by Mason, a university-wide health initiative.

At Fairfax, President Alan Merten’s wife, Sally, was the official “Queen of Hearts.” At Arlington, Lori Cohen, director of university life and campus relations, was designated “Queen of Hearts” and at Prince William, Ron Carmichael, executive officer, took the “King of Hearts” role.
