Bring on the year 2000!
That’s the attitude at George Mason as offices at the Arlington, Fairfax, and Prince William Campuses make ready for the 21st century. According to the university’s Year 2000 Project Team, “there should not be any significant Y2K-related problems” at George Mason. However, the project team asks that members of the university community immediately contact either the Physical Plant’s Work Control Center at x32525 or the University Police at x32810 if they become aware of any significant or widespread problems.
This kind of emergency reporting should only be followed during the university’s holiday break. Beginning Jan. 3, any problems should be reported through normal channels.
Persons with questions as to George Mason’s plans to reopen on Jan. 3 may call the main information line at x31000.
