Fitness Facilities Offer Free Admission Until Oct. 5

Mason’s newest recreation facility, the Recreation and Athletic Complex (RAC), is now open for business. All Mason students and faculty and staff members will have free admission to the RAC, Aquatic and Fitness Center and Skyline Fitness Center on the Fairfax Campus until Oct. 5 with a current Mason ID card.

After Oct. 5, full-time students have free admission to all facilities; part-time students and faculty and staff members need to pay a membership fee. For more information, see the RAC web site.

  • 9,678-square-foot cardio gallery
  • 5,324-square-foot weight training and fitness gallery
  • Martial arts room
  • Yoga/pilates room
  • Stretching area
  • Six basketball/volleyball courts
  • Dumbbell and barbell workout stations
  • Two racquetball courts
  • Two squash courts
  • Recreation equipment rentals
  • Men’s and women’s locker rooms; team locker rooms
  • Juice bar
  • Outdoor patio
  • 1,550-seat volleyball/wrestling venue
  • Training room
  • Offices for Recreational Sports; intercollegiate teams; Recreation, Health and Tourism; and ROTC
  • Conference rooms and classrooms
