PIA Hosts Forum on Health Care Reform

Mason’s Department of Public and International Affairs (PIA), in conjunction with the Concord Coalition, invites the public to attend an engagement meeting on health care reform.
The free event will be held on Monday, July 27, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Edwin Meese III Conference Room in Mason Hall on the Fairfax Campus.
Speakers at the event include
- G. William Hoagland, vice president of public policy at CIGNA
- Tim Henderson, assistant professor and acting deputy director of Mason’s Center for Health Policy Research and Ethics
- Raymond Scheppach, executive director of the National Governors Association
- Robert L. Bixby, executive director of The Concord Coalition
The Concord Coalition is a nationwide, nonpartisan, grassroots organization advocating generationally responsible fiscal policy. Last April, the organization sponsored a town hall meeting at Mason that focused on the country’s long-term fiscal challenges.
