Gifts Needed to Spread Holiday Spirit

Students from the Center for Service and Leadership are sponsoring Holiday Spirit, a gift donation program for low-income families in Fairfax. The students will collect new, unwrapped gift donations at a Johnson Center food court kiosk from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Dec. 6 to 10.



Once collected, the gifts will be distributed by the Hispanic Committee of Virginia. Suggested gifts include the following:


  • Infants–clothing, books, teething toys


  • Ages 3 to 7–building blocks, watches, jewelry


  • Ages 8 to 12–Lego’s, dolls, Walkman with batteries


  • Teens–sweatshirts with sports teams logos, cameras, cologne or perfume


  • Adults–clothing, purses or billfolds, costume jewelry


  • Seniors–picture frames, stationery, sweaters
