Acting for Young People Summer Arts Camp Offers Mason Community Discount

Spaces are still available in A Class Act ― Acting for Young People Summer Arts Camp.

Faculty and staff members, as well as students, receive a 10 percent discount when registering their children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews.

AFYP was recently named Best Drama Instruction/Children’s Theatre in Family Magazine’s annual reader’s poll.

The next camp sessions will be held July 20 – 24 and July 27 – 31 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Fairfax Campus. The program is for ages 5 to 18, divided into age-appropriate groups.

Campers work on acting, voice, movement, acting for the camera, musical theater and more. Each session culminates in a final presentation in Mason’s TheaterSpace.
