“Is Forgiveness Possible after the Holocaust? Resolving Conflict between Catholics and Jews” is the topic of tomorrow’s talk at the brown bag lecture series sponsored by the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (ICAR).
The lecture, given by Bruce Aft, ICAR Visiting Scholar and rabbi at Adat Reyim in Springfield, centers on the Jewish response to the letter by the Archbishop of New York seeking the forgiveness of Jews for the lack of action taken by Christians during the Holocaust. Aft has a master’s degree in social work from Temple University. He is the rabbinic advisor to Hillel at George Mason.
The lecture takes place from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the ICAR main conference room, A401, at 4260 Chain Bridge Road in Fairfax.
