Staff Senate Meeting Features IAAP President

Mason staff members are invited to attend a presentation by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) at the next Staff Senate meeting on Tuesday, May 26.

Teresa A. Henderson, IAAP Virginia and West Virginia Division president, will discuss the IAAP mission and the possibility of starting a chapter at Mason.

The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. in Innovation Hall, Room 419, and will be broadcast via videoconference to the Prince William Campus’ Occoquan Building, Room 221, and the Arlington Campus’ Original Building, Room 250.

IAAP is a nonprofit professional association for office professionals and has approximately 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide. Its mission is to assist administrative professionals meet their career goals through educational, community building and leadership development.

    I attended the IAAP meeting yesterday and am very interested in getting involved. I hope the GMU will add a chapter here. Thanks for opening this meeting up to others besides the Staff Senate members.
