Foundation Receives Major Gifts

The George Mason University Foundation, Inc., reports the following major gifts and commitments in the current fiscal year:

  • $46,000 from United Parcel Service of America, Inc., to the School of Information Technology and Engineering for research support

  • $25,000 from the John Templeton Foundation to the School of Law to fund course development and instruction

  • $100,000 to the National Center for Technology and Law from the Center for Innovative Technology for the Global Internet Summit

  • $25,000 from the estate of Donald C. Flood to The Institute of Public Policy for program support

  • $25,000 from the AFCEA Educational Foundation to the Center for Excellence in Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence

  • $60,000 in-kind from Cable in the Classroom to the Graduate School of Education
