Mason Week Events Planned

It’s April, and Mason Week — and the ever-popular Mason Day — is right around the corner. The Program Board invites you to join the annual celebration from April 17 to April 25.
- Friday, April 17, at 6 p.m., Über Student Film Festival in the Johnson Center Cinema
- Monday, April 20, to Friday, April 24, a comedian presentation, field day, farmer’s market, illusionist and more
- Thursday, April 23, Mason Day, with free carnival
T-Pain will headline the Mason Day concert
rides, a cookout by Student Government, caricaturists and the Local Stage headlined by The Independent from noon to 5 p.m. in Parking Lot L
This year’s Mason Day Concert will feature hip-hop artist T-Pain with special guests Sophia Fresh and Tay Dizm. The concert will be held in the Patriot Center at 7 p.m.; doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students, faculty and staff (limit two with ID); you may exchange your ticket stub for a $5 discount in concessions at the event. Guest tickets are $20. Tickets are available at the Patriot Center ticket office.
- Saturday, April 25, Mason Day Aftershock at Six Flags. Mason has exclusive use of the park from 4 to 10 p.m. Admission is $15 plus tax and all you can eat for $10 plus tax.
