Mason’s Office of Research and Economic Development has collected extensive information on numerous government funding opportunities for Mason researchers available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.
This information is available on a special web page.
Agencies currently listed with opportunities include the National Institutes of Health, National Endowment for the Arts, National Science Foundation, U.S. Departments of Defense and Energy, NASA and Institute of Standards and Technology.
The site also includes a link to U.S. Office of Management and Budget guidance on ARRA funds and links to other ARRA general information web sites.
According to Ann McGuigan, director of Mason’s Office of Research Development, the site was established as a general resource for the entire university community. She says the site will be updated as soon as new information becomes available, possibly daily or every other day if needed.
She notes that some of the first deadlines for applying to grants are coming up in the next few weeks.
