Look for Mason’s special Inauguration Day events on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

  • 11 a.m., Inauguration Watch on the big screen.

  • “Talking Heads Live: Mason Experts Discuss the Inauguration and the Presidency.” A panel discussion followed by audience discussion. Simulcast to the web.

  • Facilitated dialogue session, sponsored by the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution to share observations, feelings, hopes and concerns about the election and inauguration.

  • 9 p.m. to midnight: First Quadrennial “Patriots Inaugural Ball” in the Student Union Building II Ballroom on the Fairfax Campus — a nonpartisan celebration featuring live music; dancing; a balloon drop (with prizes); red, white and blue “mocktails”; favorite presidential foods; and big-screen coverage of the “other” inaugural balls.

More details will be announced as events are firmed up.
