Mason’s Office of the President and Board of Visitors Rector Ernst Volgenau hosted a luncheon on Nov. 11 to honor members of the Mason community — students, faculty and staff members — who have served their country in the military.
Volgenau, chairman of SRA International Inc. and retired U.S. Air Force colonel, delivered a commemorative address and read the names of known Mason-affiliated active duty military and retired veterans who died during the past year.
