Oct. 7—Lucy Boland, College of Health & Human Services, presented “Child Abuse” at Fairfax Presbyterian Preschool in Fairfax, Va.

Oct. 16 and Oct. 23—Martin Cohen, assistant professor emeritus of history and art history, presented “American History and Film, Parts 1 and 2” at the Shepherd’s Center of Oakton-Vienna in Vienna, Va.

Oct.16—Robert Ehrlich, Physics and Astronomy, presented “Another Inconvenient Truth about Global Warming” at Westminster at Lake Ridge in Lake Ridge, Va.

Oct. 17—Rex Wade, History and Art History, spoke in Reston, Va., to the members of the Association of American University Women, Reston-Herndon Chapter on “The Role of Women in Russia.”

Oct. 23—Marion Deshmukh, History and Art History, spoke in Fairfax, Va., at the Jewish Community Center on “Impressionism and Modern Life in 19th Century Paris.”
