Mason Prepares for Election

Mason’s umbrella for all things election 2008, MasonVotes, has developed a lineup of events at Mason for pre- and post-voting. All activities are free and open to all.

Monday, Nov. 3

9 to 11 p.m., Fairfax Campus, Bistro

“Rock the Vote” with live music, dancing and make-your-own sundae bar, sponsored by Program Board, Hillel, Student Government and MasonVotes.

Tuesday, Nov. 4

noon to 8 p.m., Fairfax Campus, between Enterprise Hall and Sandy Creek Parking Deck

Votes Vans to the Woodson High School polling place, running continuously. Sponsored by Student Government and MasonVotes.

Tuesday, Nov. 4

MasonVotes “I Voted ’08” limited edition buttons available while they last at Student Activities, Student Government and Broadside offices on the Fairfax Campus; also at the Arlington and Prince William Campuses and the Loudoun site.

Tuesday, Nov. 4

Election night coverage on the big screen in the Johnson Center atrium. President Alan Merten and Mrs. Sally Merten plan to attend.

Thursday, Nov. 6

3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Fairfax Campus, Student Union Building II, Front Ballroom
