Candidates for Vice President for Research to Give Presentations Beginning Today

The Office of the Provost invites all to attend presentations by the four candidates being considered for the position of vice president for research. The first presentation is Tuesday, June 3.
Matt Kluger, currently vice president for research and economic development, will become vice president for federal and corporate relations as of July 1. In this new position, which reports to the provost, he will focus on strategies to enhance increased external funding for research in the federal and corporate sectors.
Following is the schedule for the candidate presentations.
Tschangho John Kim: Tuesday, June 3, 10 to 11 a.m., Mason Hall, Room D3 A and B
Harvey Bruce Pollard: Wednesday, June 4, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Mason Hall, Edwin Meese III Conference Room
Matthew T. Zingraff: Thursday, June 5, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Mason Hall, Edwin Meese III Conference Room
Roger R. Stough: Thursday, June 12, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Edwin Meese III Conference Room
Candidates will discuss their vision for research at Mason, with a question and answer session to follow. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
Resumes of candidates chosen as finalists are available at the circulation desk of the Johnson Center library.
