Memorial for Prof. Robert Hawkes to Be Held

A memorial celebration for Robert T. Hawkes, longtime administrator at Mason and faculty member in the Department of History and Art History, will be held on Tuesday, May 6.

The memorial will take place on the Fairfax Campus in the Johnson Center, room C, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The event will be informal. It will include a short program, followed by an open-microphone opportunity for those who would like to share their memories of Hawkes. Those who wish to speak will be asked to keep their remarks to less than five minutes.
