Mason Hosts NCAA Tournament Watch Parties

On Thursday, March 20, Mason will host NCAA Tournament watch parties around the Fairfax Campus in these locations: the Johnson Center Atrium, the Johnson Center Bistro, the Corner Pocket Game Room in Shenandoah Hall and Damon’s Restaurant in Student Union Building I.

Join your fellow Patriots at 9:15 p.m. in any of these locations to watch the men’s basketball team face off against Notre Dame. Giveaways will be provided. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:50 p.m.

On the Arlington Campus, Mason students, faculty and staff will be heading to Bailey’s Pub & Grille in the Ballston Commons Mall to cheer on the Patriots.

In addition, alumni around the country are organizing watch parties. Check the alumni web site for the most updated information.

In Denver, there will be a George Mason pre-game reception on Thursday, March 20, at 3:30 p.m. at Mattie’s House of Mirrors, 1946 Market Street. RSVP to Maria Seniw at mseniw@gmu.edu or call 703-993-8763.

People of every age are fans of the Mason men’s basketball team. This crowd gathered on Tuesday to give the Patriots a fine send-off as the team headed to Denver to face their first opponent in the NCAA Tournament.
