Provost Review Committee Announced

Mason President Alan Merten has announced appointments to the committee that will review Provost Peter Stearns, who will be due for reappointment next year.
The committee members and their academic units are:
Susan Tolchin, School of Public Policy, chair
Robert Dudley, College of Humanities and Social Sciences
Richard Rubenstein, Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution
Robert Smith, College of Humanities and Social Sciences
Helen Frederick, College of Visual and Performing Arts
Arun Sood, the Volgenau School of Information Technology and Engineering
Lynn Gerber, College of Health and Human Services
Gerald Hanweck, School of Management
Claudio Cioffi-Revilla, Krasnow Institute for Advanced Study
Stearns was initially appointed provost in 2000 and reappointed in 2004.
The committee is charged to complete its review by the end of the current academic year.
