The free Mason shuttles have increasingly become a vital part of transportation options at the Mason campuses. To better serve the university population, The Parking and Transportation Department has announced schedule changes for the various shuttle routes — including continuous Mason to Metro service on weekdays — when spring semester classes begin.

Mason to Metro Shuttle

Beginning Jan. 14, the Mason to Metro Shuttle, which runs between the Sandy Creek Parking Deck area on the Fairfax Campus and the Vienna Metro stop, will have departures on the hour and half hour (e.g., 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m.). Midday service has been added, so the shuttle will run continuously throughout the day. Check the shuttle web site for the new schedule.

West Campus Shuttle

Shuttle service to and from the west Fairfax Campus will resume Sunday, Jan. 20, with service from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. as well as service on Monday, Jan. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. On Tuesday, Jan. 22, a new West Campus Shuttle schedule goes into effect, with no stop in Lot E. Departures from the west campus and Presidents Park will be every 20 minutes instead of every 30 minutes. Check the shuttle web site for the new schedule.

Field House Express Shuttle

The new Field House Express Shuttle service on the Fairfax Campus begins on Tuesday, Jan 22. For those parking at the Field House, this new shuttle route will run continuously from the Field House to the CUE bus stop on Patriot Circle and back from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday. There is no Friday service; however, those parking at the Field House can still catch the West Campus Shuttle on its route back to the east side of campus.

Prince William–Fairfax Campus Shuttle

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 22, the Prince William–Fairfax Campus Shuttle returns to its normal schedule. See the shuttle web site for the schedule.
