Gift Endows New Professorship

A gift of $500,000 received from the estate of Rose Lorie will endow a new rotating professorship in electrical engineering and mathematics.
The professorship will be named the Max and Rose Lorie Memorial Professorship.
Rose Lorie came to the United States from Krakow, Poland about1940 and lived in Washington, D.C. Max, her husband, predeceased her.
