 Ryszard Michalski (far right), Planning Research Corporation Professor of Computational Sciences and Health Informatics and director of the Center for Discovery Science and Health Informatics, is shown after receiving the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. The award was presented by the president of Poland, Lech Kaczynski, in recognition of Michalski’s scientific work and his facilitation of collaborative works between scientists in Poland and the United States. Other awardees with him are Kazimierz Lenard and Julian Kulski, who both received the Commander’s Cross with the Star of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. |
