Chevy Chase Bank Is Mason’s New Banking Partner

This year, a Request for Proposals was required for management of banking services at Mason. As a result of that process, a university review committee selected Chevy Chase Bank to manage banking services at all campuses.
The transition for the Johnson Center branch to Chevy Chase Bank will take place in August. United Bank will close its branch at the Fairfax Campus in the Johnson Center, Room 113, at noon on Friday, Aug. 17.
All accounts will be transferred to the United Bank Fairfax office at 11185 Fairfax Blvd. (formerly Main St.) at the intersection of Rt. 50 and Jermantown Rd. The United Bank ATM and cash machines at all campuses will also close and will be replaced with Chevy Chase machines. A schedule for replacing the ATMs will be released at a later date.
Additional transition information and information about Chevy Chase Bank services will be issued in the coming weeks.
