In an effort to showcase students’ innovative work, the School of Public Policy (SPP) has launched an online student-run journal, New Voices in Public Policy.
The publication is a forum for sharing students’ original policy research and analysis with the broader academic and public policy communities.
“New Voices in Public Policy is the realization of a vision for sharing the outstanding scholarship of the school’s student body,” says SPP Dean Kingsley Haynes. “Reflecting the diversity of the student body, the authors hail from across the country and around the world.”
Students from all SPP fields of study, including international commerce, peace operations, organizational development and transportation policy, as well as the flagship public policy program, will be responsible for the content of the publication. The students represent the spectrum of professional experience, from young professional to senior manager.
Haynes adds that the debut of this journal is “the result of the work of a small group of highly motivated and academically exceptional students who formed the first editorial board. I thank them for their dedication and tireless efforts.”
