Mason’s Intramural Sports Department is offering several exciting recreational events this spring for students, faculty and staff.

Saturday, April 14—Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament

Open to all current Mason students, faculty and staff. This one-day tournament will be held in the PE Building, Room 217. There will be no buy-in for this event. All participants will begin with the same number of chips and play until a winner is determined. There will be prize donations from local companies for all members of the final table. Light food and soft drinks will be provided. Check-in will begin at 12:30 p.m., with play beginning at 1 p.m. Register online by completing the free agent form.

Saturday, April 21—New York City Bus Trip

Cost is $35 for current Mason students, faculty and staff; $45 all others. Register online.

Saturday, May 5—Mason Student, Faculty and Staff Golf Tournament

Cost is $65 per player. The one-day tournament will begin at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start. This format has changed from previous tournaments to ensure a quick finish time. The outing will be held at Penderbrook Golf Course in Fairfax, Va. The tournament fee includes: cart/green fees; breakfast buffet; lunch buffet; unlimited play for the rest of the day; free greens fee pass to be used at a later date. Prizes will be awarded for the overall top three foursomes, longest drive, and closest to the pin. There will also be a chance to shoot for $10,000 if you make a hole in one.
